Dyveke Bredsdorff (b. 1989) is a Danish artist based in London currently completing an MFA in Fine Art Media at the Slade School of Fine Art. She works with text, sound, performance, printmaking and video exploring the relationship between emotion and public expression whilst invested in reframing contemporary lesbian feminism and identity investigating visibility, representation, and lesbian Feelings&Desires. Previous projects (2017) include performances at The Dyson Gallery, RCA, The Deptford XSpace invited by SALT., and readings at The Royal Vauxhall Tavern invited by Slade Queer Club. Upcoming projects (2018) include the Slade Degree Show and curatingMOTHERS’with Bronte Dow, a group show commissioning artists and their mothers/guardians to make work in collaboration. Bredsdorff was awarded The Anthony Dawson Printmaking Award for excellence in printmaking (2017) and was shortlisted for the Sarabande Emerging Artist Fund and for Bloomberg New Contemporaries (2018).
